Comment: A montage from George Orwell's masterpiece 1984. This piece depicts numerous objects that appear in the novel, although there is no scene where they all appear. Look closely through the smoke; there is a shadow on the wall of a man setting down a briefcase.

And, no, the window does not have real/accurate perspective. IT'S INTENTIONAL. We call this "symbolism," in this case, of the distorted reality of Oceania. (And I thought I was overly literal... There are some truly obtuse folks on the Web.)
